Ingredients for Blueberry Smoothie:

  • 1 cup – fresh Blueberries, washed
  • ¼ cup – Organic Chia Seeds
  • ¼ cup – Organic Oats
  • 1 big or 2 small – Banana
  • ¼ cup – Plain Yogurt
  • 1 cup – Water Or Coconut Water

  • 1 tablespoon – Hemp Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon – Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon – Desiccated Coconut

Method

Step 1

In a bowl, soak chia seeds and oats in water (add about 1 cup water) for about 2 hours or overnight

Step 2

Preparing Smoothie: In a Vitamix or blender, add soaked chia and oats with water, a peeled banana, blueberries, and yogurt. Process it until smooth and thick

Step 3

Pour it in a bowl and garnish it with berries, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, and shredded coconut.

Step 4

Serve this delicious breakfast bowl immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Vegan: Use Coconut milk/almond milk or Vegan Yogurt instead of Dairy Yogurt
  • Berry Variations: It tastes equally good with strawberries, blackberry, acai berry or you can even add your choice of berries
  • Sweetness level: Use ripe banana for natural sweetness. Alternatively, you can also use maple syrup or honey
