Thandai recipe reminds me of my childhood memories when my mother and grandmother used to make on a hot summer day in India. Those days, as a kid I used to playfully help mom grind nuts and spices in our antique mortar and pestle. Thandai is made and consumed on an occasion of Shivratri or Holi festival.
